Electric Field Sensors and Electronic
Product Development Manager
-
Manager of
the EF sensor department with Revenue, cost, design and
manufacture responsibilities
-
Manages the
electronics development department Develops customer
contacts, providing quotations and technical information;
and reviews, plans, and provides support for sensor
contracts.
-
Manages the
research and development of new and existing products
throughout the company;
-
You will
contribute technically, and apply your existing theoretical
and practical expertise to develop innovative products and
technologies for clients.
-
Provides
electronic design support for the company
-
To employ a
knowledge of current electronics technology in the
improvement of existing product designs
-
Researches
enabling technologies to be applied to electronic designs;
-
Responsible
for Cost, Quality and Delivery Performance to the client.
-
This role
is a link between business development, R&D, engineering and
manufacturing – ensuring the customers exact requirements
are met and delivered.

Working
closely with a range of clients (providing a single point of
contact) and delivering an excellent customer relationship
experience.
-
Responsible
for contracts and business agreements with clients –
ensuring long-term relationships, while maintaining good
commercial revenue.
-
Provide
strategic insight and recommendations to support business
development opportunities.
-
To liaise
as required with customers and suppliers on the technical
aspects of products and to write product and purchasing
specifications
-
To employ
good electronics engineering practice in all design,
development and product engineering projects
-
To operate
within a document control system to ISO9001 requirements
-
To lead,
train and motivate staff

Data Processor / Reports Writer
-
You will
analyse offshore collected survey data using
bespoke
in-house software
-
Produce
technical written reports to be issued to high profile oil
and gas clients
-
Work as a
team with of engineers and the rest of the
processing/reporting staff
-
Potential
opportunities to work offshore and travel abroad
-
Adhere to
the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and Quality manual
procedures
-
Good
written and verbal communication skills
-
Good
knowledge of Microsoft office
-
Good time
management and organisational skills to meet deadlines

Scientific

Graduate Electronics Design Engineer
The
role is for an all round practical engineer with broad
skills to aid in the design and development of new and
existing systems and products.
You
will be working in a team that designs, maintains and
develops the company's products.
The
role will entail a mixture of electronics design and
software development so would suit an engineer with
understanding in both.
Candidates
will ideally be qualified to degree standard with board
level analogue and digital design skills including multi
layer PCB’s.
A
practical engineering aptitude is essential as is an ability
to work on a variety of projects with varying development
lifecycles.
An
understanding of A to D conversion and Micro-Controller
Circuits, PIC Microcontroller and Embedded Firmware designs
and the use of associated test equipment would be
advantageous as would programming skills.
