The BWS anti-fouling systems incorporating
the latest technology ensures the safe and efficient
operation of sea water systems by preventing the attachment
and growth of marine organisms.
Features of the system include:
- Environmentally friendly, safer and more convenient
than chemical injection systems - no requirement to
handle or store toxic chemicals
- Continuous corrosion and scale prevention properties
through the dissipation of aluminium hydroxide into the
sea water systems
- Initial capital and operating costs are lower than
sodium hypochlorite generating systems
- Anodes are supplied ready assembled to minimise
on-site work and are installed from inboard
- Coated anodes improve operational life by assuring
'bottom-up' wear to prevent 'hour glassing' and damage
to downstream equipment
- Anodes and Control Panel incorporate wear devices
which when activated automatically shut off anode power
to prevent comprising the system
