Subspection electric field sensors use low
noise electrodes and high performance electronics. Highly
reliable and ruggedly constructed, they are ideally suited
for range and research applications. Features include:
- Current driven electric dipole provides a controlled electric field in the sea
- Stand alone instrument, which primarily uses a
battery powered signal source, but can be driven from a
generator or mains supply also.
- Signal source provides controlled AC current for the dipole
- Selectable drive signal frequency and peak output current
- Electric dipole signal of 10 amp. meters or greater
- Lightweight and readily portable
- Dipole may be suspended from a boat or permanently installed on a range
